| Open Water Diver-The first level of certification for a SCUBA diver. Learn the fundamentals of the sport in a patient and safe environment. This certification allows the diver to participate in dives up to sixty feet in depth. Minimum age is 10 years. $240.00 (PADI Certification add $50.00) Advanced Open Water- Through instruction in deep water diving and underwater navigation, the diver becomes qualified to dive depths up to 130'. Must have O.W. Certification. $200.00 (PADI Certification add $30.00). Rescue Diver- Self and buddy rescue techniques are mastered by addressing and resolving various safety issues. Minimum age requirement is 18 years (15 with parental consent). $275.00 (PADI Certification add $75.00) Divemaster and Assistant Instructor- Contact Go Deep for details. |
| Chris Drumm Coombs is certified by SDI/TDI and PADI as a Dive Instructor. She prefers the SDI/TDI curriculum. If you prefer PADI, Chris is happy to use their system, but it's slightly more expensive. Both certifying agencies are top-notch and recognized internationally. The choice is ultimately yours.
